Library at the Deanery
The permanent library building is closed for renovation. The Library is offering material check out/ pick up at 509 Rathervue Place in a house called The Deanery. The Grand Opening of the renovated library is happening in September 2023!
Step 1: Send us your request
Southwest students, faculty, staff, alumni, and Iona users: use the library's discovery tool, Seeker, to search for items. Don’t have an Seminary of the Southwest google account? Search here.
Step 2: Picking up your items
If picking up in your vehicle:
At your scheduled time, enter the driveway at 509 Rathervue Place and park in one of the two parking spots in front of the Deanery Garage. These spots have signage. (Please don't park in our neighbor's driveway.) Please see picture above for clarification.
Call 512.478.5212 when you arrive.
A staff person will place the items in the vehicle.
If picking up by walk-in:
Items will be held for you at the Welcome Desk.

Items can be returned anytime by placing them in the book drop by the parking spaces at the Deanery.
Please return books on time, or request a renewal by logging into your account or emailing library@ssw.edu.
