Instructional - Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Services

Required time for ILL requests

undefinedMany uncontrollable factors affect fulfilling an ILL request.  Some examples are - shipping, distance between libraries, locating a copy, and item availability.  Due to these factors and others, while we are hopeful that a copy will be received through interlibrary loan, we are unable to guarantee their arrival.

To ensure the highest possibility that the item can be located and obtained by any patron deadlines, Harrison Library asks all patrons to please allow a minimum of 10 working days (Monday - Friday) for all requests.  Also, please indicate any deadlines on the  request form.   Materials out of state, in high demand, or difficult to locate often take longer to obtain.
