Instructional - Guide to the Library for Southwest Students: Koha Catalog

Introduction to Koha

Koha is Harrison Library's Integrated Library System (ILS), which translates as the new online catalog, or OPAC (Online Patron Access Catalog). Think of Koha as an index of everything that resides physically in both the Harrison Library (SSW) and the Wright Center (APTS). Sure, you may find a few SSW specific e-resources, but for a robust search of e-resources and beyond Seeker remains the best option.

Feature

Have you heard? There's big news coming out of the Harrison Library. We are rolling out a new OPAC (Online Patron Access Catalog)!

Koha replaces our previous online catalog, WebVoyage, which you may have never used. That's not a problem. Koha is a full-featured Integrated Library System (ILS) that allows the librarians to do all the back-end work that brings you the best online catalog experience possible, including searching, accessing course reserves, placing holds, and managing your account.
