Instructional - New York Times: Renewal

Once a Year

When you registered for the NYTImes through the Seminary of the Southwest, you received an individual account. Your account needs to be renewed each year that you are affiliated with the seminary. It's really easy to do. Please follow the instructions below.

Did Your Account Expire?

The New York Times does not alert you when your subscription lapses, therefore it is important to make note of your renewal date for future reference.

You can determine if your subscription is still active or not by following these steps:

  1. Go to NYTimes.com
  2. Login
  3. Click on My Account
  4. If you don't see Digital Subscriber under your name, then you need to renew

How to Renew

The following must be done while on-campus:

1. Navigate to NYTimes.com/GroupPass

2. Click on "Already have an account? Log in here" (this is located below the Create Account button).

3. Login with your existing NYTimes username/password

      A. Be sure and choose the correct user type

      B. If you are a student, put in your expected graduation date

All Done!

Don't forget to put the date of your renewal on your calendar for next year!
