Instructional - Guide to the Library for Southwest Students: Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary loan of physical items has resumed. This service is available to Southwest students, faculty, staff, and alumni. 

Access Services Librarian Marlon Patterson has developed an Interlibrary Loan LibGuide with all the details on this service, but here are a few highlights:

The limit on physical interlibrary loan items is three at a time. There is no limit on article requests. 

Use the library's discovery tool, Seeker, to search for items. Use the "request this item" feature, which looks like this:

If you can't find the item in Seeker, email the title, author, and publication year to library@ssw.edu. 

The staff will keep in touch about the progress of your request.

Interlibrary loaned material can be returned to the Harrison Library book drop.
